President's Cup Results

The President's Cup is an annual 'O' event set by the standing Uringa Club President.  It is held in conjunction
with the Uringa Christmas Party.  Rules vary year to year but usually involve points for controls visited and correct
answers to challenging questions found at each control.

The winner is awarded the 'President's Cup' while last place or a memorable run is awarded the 'small cup'.
Both of these awards are unique pottery cups always designed and made by Jitka Kopriva.

Uringa Club History

Uringa Orienteers (also known as the Uringa Eagles) was established in the early 1970s.
The club’s traditional region comprises Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Balmain, Canterbury, Strathfield and Auburn.
As a result of its long history, members who may have once lived in the area are today located across Sydney
from its northern tips around Hornsby to the city’s southern skirts in Sutherland Shire, and beyond.

Preparation of a brief history of the club is underway, and will be posted here.
